Within this Missing Manual series, the author delves into the nuts and bolts
of Dreamweaver MX 2004. Besides having a multitude of tips for web designers
to benefit from, also included within the mammoth 836 pages are 130 pages of
hands-on tutorials. The book is organized into logical sections, covering how
to build a web page, building a better web page, making pages interactive (through
the use of forms, Javascript, Flash, etc.), building a web site, using the timesaving
features of the program, and building a database driven, dynamic web site. I
especially liked the coverage of CSS (cascading style sheets). There
is an online site which includes examples from the book in action. The beginner
through the advanced user will find what they need to guide them through becoming
more proficient with Dreamweaver MX 2004.
